    I’d like to hear any one else’s thoughts on using Glen Canyon Dam to hold up for the duration. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glen_Canyon_Dam

    sounds good to me…u would have power at least if the rest of the grid went down

    it also seemed really defendable to me because of the very limited access that would be relatively easy to keep watch on, and if for some reason you couldn’t cover one of the access points you could either blow it or use the surrounding slick rock to wall it off. and of course i like it for the access to a large amount of water.
