Johnston Atoll A quiet little island in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Home to more 300 species of fish you’ll never want for something fresh to eat. Also home to a few bird species as well. Not sure what type are eatable, but hey meats meat. The perfect spot to wait out the zombie upriseing. All ya need is a boat, plane or the fantastic Phoenix 1000
It’s a waist land. Where is the farming land or clean water?
well your the survivalist. Can ya recodment a good way to convert sea water to reg?
I don’t tend to really worry about it. The islands I look for are surrounded by fresh water. But seriously, if your going to convert sea water to regular water, do what sweeney did with his piss.
This seems doable. even safer than taking water from a river. http://www.ehow.com/how_5626376_make-sea-water-drinkable.html
than some krats and hole up till it all blows over. Just sit there and work on your tan.
Yea I guess you could do that, or just filter river water and boil it which cleans it faster then what you want to do.
@sweeney‘s piss tactic is always good, but since you are on an island with plenty of sun and possible tropical storms, you can use the sheet method and hole using the sun to heat the water to condensate into a pot to store and drink. You can use the same method to catch rain when it pours. There are tons of methods to make drinkable water, just hope you have the equipment to do so
Isn’t that the piss method? The same thing really, condensation.
What would be the point of going there without supplies? Than again sometimes ya gotta bug out without grabbing anything. Diffinetly be stopping at the local army navy store. One good thing about a zombie outbreak is no waiting in lines and everything is free.
Well that’s the problem with supplies and making a journey to sea. It all matters on your carrying capacity. By the way, in regards to this place, you need to know how to travel there. There skills needed to travel to a island over seas, it’s better to learn different things like proper farming.
