If your main concern of your fortress is being stuck and not able to escape…you might want this mobile Fortress…The Zombie Barge. It even recycles all your zombie killing to nice environmentally conscience biofuel.

    Check it out: http://youtu.be/PNn78UeTp5E

This would go great with the California Community. It’s part of the Mothball Fleet of Naval Vessels that people are going to use as a community. This would also be wonderful to help bring back the world of the zombie Apocalypse. Take the processor off the barge and draw the zombies to the processor somehow and you have a instant power source. Also in regards to bridges, the Mississippi River has Draw Bridges along it or high enough because of the multiable barges that go along it. Good plan but I wouldn’t do it.

Good idea but making zombie bio diesel is a breeding ground for further infection it’s completely possible to render fat into fuel but gathering a bunch of infected matter and putting it somewhere to be heated androt and then having to scoop out the chunks that didn’t melt down seems like a bad idea to me but the boat is still better than where I’m heading

I’ve got some woods with decently deep canyons and difficult terriain my goal is To get deep in there with a few other people construct makeshift dirt and log walls around us I’ve found these cot type things climbers use to sleep without coming off the rocks that i think would work hooked between trees that I’m gonna try out soon and see how plausible that is for sleeping and use it as a base of operations in the surrounding areas game and water is plentiful as are the edible plants

No disrespect but isn’t the city a little bit to densely populated?

And do you think that they are going to be there forever. Not only that but stay alive for a year, two tops, then they will be mostly decomposed and it will be safe to travel anywhere.
