If you are a sucker for unique and strange houses, that have some what of a defensible design, this house would be your number one choice. One flaw that Kit points out though, if you are overrun from the undead or sieged by hostile civilians, your retractable stairway is your prison door to your now prison. Without a separate exit your shut in for the rest of the apocalypse.
